Roasted Dates with Thyme, Sage + Rosemary Clarified Butter

Thyme, Sage + Rosemary Clarified Butter Ingredients

4 oz. clarified butter or ghee
1 tbsp. each of fresh sage, rosemary, and thyme
Sea salt to taste

Thyme, Sage + Rosemary Clarified Butter Directions

1) Combine ingredients in food processor until herbs are chopped and ingredients combined.
2) Adjust sea salt to taste.
3) Serve and enjoy!

Makes 4 oz.

Roasted Date Ingredients

12 Medjool dates
Thyme, Sage + Rosemary Clarified Butter

Roasted Date Directions

1) Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
2) Slice each date on one side lengthwise and remove pit.
3) Add 1/2 tsp. Thyme, Sage + Rosemary Clarified Butter to the center of each date where pit was removed and pinch date closed around clarified butter.
4) Place dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced at least one-inch apart.
5) Bake dates until warm and soft, about 10 minutes.
6) Serve as a passed appetizer or dessert, and enjoy!
