Vegan Macadamia Nut Pesto Ingredients

2 cups fresh basil, tightly packed
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1 cup macadamia nuts
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 cup + 3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
Himalayan pink salt to taste

Vegan Macadamia Pesto Directions

1) Add basil, garlic, nutritional yeast, macadamia nuts, lemon juice, 1/4 cup of olive oil and salt to a food processor and begin to process on low.
2) Leaving food processor on, slowly drizzle remaining olive oil into pesto until all ingredients are fully incorporated.  
3) Adjust salt to taste. 
4) Transfer to a serving dish.  
5) Serve and enjoy!

Makes approximately 2 1/2 cups.
